ARMS set to soar in year five - 2025 Schedule Released

Beginning its fifth overall season, just the second under the Heartland Promotions banner, the USRA American Racer Modified Series presented by Day Motor Sports is set to soar in year five. Having inked a deal with POWRi, drivers are ready for arguably the most anticipated season opener in series history set for Friday and Saturday, February 21st & 22nd, at the Dirt Track at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, TX. They will join the POWRi Honest Abe Roofing 410 Outlaw Sprint Cars in partnership with the Elite Outlaw Sprints and the IMCA RaceSaver 305 Sprint Cars.
After races at Heart O’ Texas Speedway and an April doubleheader at Ark-La-Tex Speedway, ARMS competitors will once again travel to Northeast Oklahoma at the end of May for Joe Duvall’s Funkadelic Dirt Track and Honkytonk Extravaganza doubleheader featuring a head-to-head battle with the USRA Heartland Modified Tour. Arrowhead Speedway and Salina Highbanks are back on board for the wild shoot-out weekend on Friday, May 23rd, and Saturday, May 24th.
Last year, each series tallied a mark in the win column, splitting the weekend as Chad Wheeler claimed the win for the HMT contingent on Friday night at Arrowhead Speedway, with Joe Duvall delivering a counter punch for the ARMS drivers on Saturday night at the Salina Highbanks.
From there, the series makes another huge splash before a mid-summer break begins, rolling into Bubba Jones’ and Ralo Pilkington’s Boothill Speedway for the Doug Murphrey Memorial on June 6th and 7th. After a full race program on night one, they lay it all on the line for $10,000 to win on Saturday night.
Escaping the heat from the middle of June until things pick back up in late August, the series will visit Texarkana 67 Speedway and Ark-La-Tex Speedway on August 22nd and 23rd. September is quiet before an October visit to Route 66 Motor Speedway in Amarillo for a West Texas doubleheader. They make another stop at the Heart O Texas Speedway on October 30th, then finish the year on November 7th and 8th once again at the Dirt Track at Texas Motor Speedway with the POWRi Honest Abe Roofing 410 Outlaw Sprint Cars and the POWRi Revival Dirt Late Model Series presented by Start2Finish TV.
Regarding the season opening and ending weekends at Texas Motor Speedway, POWRi Series Director Talin Turner had this to say. “We are excited about our new partnership with the USRA American Racer Modified Series and RacinDirt.com to bring the best of both worlds together at a premiere facility like Texas Motor Speedway. Both events have the potential to turn into marquee weekends for both series.” Both weekends at Texas Motor Speedway will be available on RacinDirt.com and Start2Finish TV.
“I really like what we’ve accomplished with this schedule,” commented Series Director Erick Chesterman. “With 5 double headers, and taking the hottest part of the summer off, I really believe this will make the travel easier and help keep our teams fresh. Some of our guys like to vacation in July, while others just want to stay closer to home or out of the heat in general. We really tried to pay attention to that and give our drivers what they asked us for.”
Series officials are looking to add up to four more events to the calendar while keeping the mid-June to mid-August break intact.
