The Ark-La-Tex Speedway in Vivian, La., celebrated the track owner’s birthday with the thrilling Donnie’s Birthday Bash on Saturday with four Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series divisions in action, headlined by the USRA American Racer Modified Series presented by Day Motor Sports.

The event saw Cade Dillard claim a dramatic $2,000-to-win USRA Modified feature, while standout performances across multiple classes electrified the crowd.

Dillard, of Robeline, surged past Chris Henigan, the track’s all-time winningest driver with 88 career victories, with two laps remaining to secure the victory.

Henigan, who led the first 28 laps, finished second, followed by Gary Christian of Broken Bow, Okla., in third. Trevor Hughes of Westville, Okla., took fourth, and Friday's winner Manuel Williams II of Fouke, Ark., rounded out the top five.

Christian’s podium finish solidified his lead in the ARMS points standings with three races in the books.

The USRA B-Mod feature saw Dustin Henigan of Marshall, son of Chris Henigan, hang on for the $750 prize.

Talan Willis of Elizabeth came up just short at the end and claimed second, with Colby Williams of Sibley in third. Gregory Muirhead of Mabank, Texas, finished fourth, and Hayden Brown of Minden took fifth.

In the USRA Limited Mod main event, Derick Grigsby of Marshall edged out Chase Hatton of De Berry, Texas, by two car-lengths in a tense battle through lapped traffic to win $750.

Connor Mewborn of Texarkana, Texas, finished third, followed by Stephen Guidry of Marksville in fourth and Colby Mewborn of Texarkana, Texas, in fifth.

The Sunoco USRA Factory Stocks delivered a $750-to-win thriller, with Dalton DuBois of Robeline taking the checkered flag.

Dakoda Wyatt of Provencal finished second, followed by Justin Ingalls of Longview, Texas, in third. Joshua Martin of Colfax charged to fourth, and Kolton Chamberlain of Jacksonville, Texas, secured fifth.

In the USRA Tuners, Sean Leasure of Mansfield, Texas, claimed the victory, with Tyler Ellis of Murfreesboro, Ark., in second. Layne Riley of Hallsville, Texas, finished third, followed by defending USRA Tuner National Champion Michael McEachern of Haughton and Justin Converse of Texarkana, Ark., in fifth.

The next event for the USRA American Racer Modified Series will be a Sooner State doubleheader on Friday, May 23, at the Arrowhead Speedway in Colcord, Okla., and Saturday, May 24, at the Salina Highbanks Speedway in Pryor Creek for Joe Duvall's two-night Funkadelic Dirt Track and Honkytonk Extravaganza.
